Roles and Responsibilities of the Council
Representative Organization
Consists of the members elected by the residents,speaks for the interest of residents on behalf of residents,and reflects the public opinion of residents in the policy-making.
Decision-making Organization
Makes a final deliberation and decision on the main issues of local government including enacting regulations.operating institons, levying a burden on residents.
Legislatve Organization
Makes the regulations of local government and amends them when the need comes.
Supervisory Organization
Supervise the admin istration through administration affairs inspection, question, and approval system, to see if it is being operated legally and reasonably, and make a request to correct the wrongs.
